I was hoping I could get some advice from people who wear closed toed bindings. My shoe size is 11 and I just purchased some 09 Ronix Ones in size 11. However, they seem to feel a little small. At the moment my toes are touching the edge of the binding, not jammed up in there but a little close. Is this normal or should I go to a size 12? How should they fit?

I bought them online (local dealer didn't have my size or the kind I wanted) and the rep said that the liner inside will stretch a little to fit your foot. This is my first pair of closed toes so I wasn't sure how they should fit. I am gonna have a chance to try on a size 12 tomorrow and compare the feel.

Any advice or opinions is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have always had the experience that Ronix Bindings run large. I wear size 11 and my first pair of 07 Cell's size 11 were considerably big. I bought a pair of 09 Cell's size 10 a few weeks ago and they seem to fit pretty well. They should fit almost perfect, if your toes are bunched imagine how it will feel when you take a fall and jam your toes. But IMO you don't want them to be too large either.

Have you tried them riding or only around the house? Makes a difference once you ride... I actually ride one size smaller on bindings to shoe size... Don't want your foot moving around in them

i have 3 different pair of cwb answer bindings size medium 8-10 . i wear a size 9 on one set my toes touch the tips of the bindings . on big jumps they get a little squished. on another set my toes don't touch on big jumps my toes get jammed into the tip of the boot. it is very uncomfortable. i'm going to try different fixes to take up the space. i think it is better to be a little on the snug side.

my opinion goes along with the ol' saying that "it is easier to add-to than to take away" I purposely get a size that is a little big and then fill the space by wearing a thick neoprene sock. more cushy too. but that's me

I have only worn them in the house and havent ridden with them yet. My fear is that I will jam my toes or pull off my toe nails. I am thinking I need to go up to a 12.

Do you plan on molding them? This will probably move your foot back a tad.

Id definitely go a size bigger. Jammin the toes/toenails is not fun. My slingshot D2's run a size bigger than my shoe size and they fit perfectly. Like Jeremy said, its always easier to just throw on a thick water sock and take up that space if they do happen to be just a litttttle big.

Yes I plan on molding them.

I agree Ben, Im gonna swap them out for a 12. As soon as I put on my 11's I knew right away they were a little small. Thanks for the help guys.

If your toes are just touching, that's perfect. If it's making your toes curl, They’re too small. The last thing you want to do is ride in boots that are too big for you. In the end, it's your feet and you need to decide if they will work out for you.
