Not an X-star, but basically the same set-up, and may give you a few ideas. Here is mine and a friends that I did. Basically the same system, but mine is an '07 and his is an '06.

You are correct....I was under the assumption he was looking for the red lights which are $35.00 for 4 that I used in my boat.
