I have hit some rails lately that I keep catching on. It seems like I am catching an edge is there any way to make my board slicker on rails. Like wax? Or Something?

I know its probably a stupid question.

Is the rail smooth? I'm not being sarcastic but if there is any rough spots it can slow you down. I know the LF boards with Grind bases slide alot easier. Not that I'm trying to get you a new board but it might not be you. What is the rail made of?

I think it is the stuff you put on a deck like composite wood or something. It has never been a problem before. I'm riding a board with a grind base. I think I have just been off the last couple of weeks.

I'd be checking all your seams, make sure everything is flush. You can wax the rail it just takes some work and time.
