Ropewinder or Skireel??

Hi folks

I'm new to your site and I must say it is great. I just purchased a used boat for the family (03 MC Maristar 230 VRS) w/85 hrs on it. We have been out several times in it already and we are loving it. The tower is completely bare of any thing (ZeroFlex). I am getting ready to install a set of Fusion speakers and will be making a light bar as well. Enough rambling on to the ?

Does anyone have any experience with the Ropewinder or Skireel products. Do they both work as advertised,, any issues with them,, customer support,, install issues? I see that the Skireel is several hundred dollars more,, is it that much better?

I spend 8 hours a day in a boat and I pull the rope in between almost ever set...by hand. It always works! Spend your money elsewhere.

take that money and hire a hot 21 year old girl to bring in your rope, thats a much better investment

We ride 3-4 times week all year round and wind the rope in by hand every set. For sure spend your money elsewhere.Maybe drop the fusion speakers and get NVS or Wetsounds!

I'm getting a GREAT deal on the Fusion speakers,, too good to pass up and they will probably do "enough" for me. BTW,, did you sell your boat? I saw it listed a while back and had a buddy of mine that was interested.

Yup! Calabria went to Canada, but I stripped the audio. Picked up 07' Tomcat. If you need more Fusion speakers I have a another pair from the Tomcat tower I'm selling.
