So I'm getting pretty frustrated with my 2008 Murray bindings. I'm on my 3rd or 4th set of lace locks and they never hold for longer than one set so my bindings completely loosen up when I'm riding. Hyperlite even sent me the new version locks and they are doing the same thing.

I sent a request to info@hosports.com a few days ago but haven't heard back yet. Suggestions? I'm having to tie knots in my laces each time I ride to keep them tight.

Thanks.

Myke - They are 2008's.

Nick - Buy them from me and then I'll consider a change.

Eubanks,
I'm sure you have spoken with Hyperlite customer service but maybe its time to kick it up a notch.
I have never had Hyperlite refuse any board or binding return when having trouble. If they can't fix the 08 problem its time to ask for a manager and get 09 bindings to replace.
I just swapped out my 08 Era for an 09 no questions asked, top clear coat was coming off all around the edges.
I'm not thrilled about riding a guitar board but I'm not going to complain to loud.
Good luck.

Ive been having the exact same problem with the 08 Murrays. If you get a solution let me know. All i can think of is put in thicker lines or using a clips from some snowboard boots.

I ride the 08 Murrays also and I have the same problem. I was just going to send them into Hyperlite and get them replaced and have them send me some 09 Murrays, but I also have some other things breaking on them.

has any body tried taking the strings and tieing them around the boot and sucking them tight, like take the laces pull one left and one right and tie them on the back.my buddy recommends this, but i don't know.

I had the same problem and got so frustrated I just ran regular shoe laces on top. I tie them just like shoes and it works awesome.
