Just a heads up to every one that Bixler Rd between Disco and Orwood is open again!!!

Sweet,so my commute to orwood is gonna be 3 1\2 miles to the dock,not 6.

Why was it closed? Widening / Improvents / canal dig?

Big Ed - You got it and are you in Disco now?

Aaron - they had it closed from Balfour to Orwood for widening, they will close it again to complete the widening project but that won't be for another few months! When it's completeled it's going to be very nice!

No not yet but I know the closed road you are talking about.I meet J-Rod a few times up at Orwood so I know about the detour and it would have added 2 1\2 miles to Orwood on my commute.I'm moving wednesday july 6th.

Ed, you're moving to the Bay the 6th? Congrats if so and where about's are you moving? Since we will be neighbors let me know if you ever need a third, this time I'll only wear my boyshorts when I ride, then I'll strip down to smaller threads!

Thanks for the update on that road Teri. I realize it was last week, but it's helpful. I was getting annoyed by that road. I know it wasn't too far out of the way, but it did manage to make me late for a pull at Orwood a while back. Anyway, thanks! ;-)
