Richard, The lake was closed since the heavy rains. I heard it was due to debris in the water, was there any and do you know what the water temp is.

There was some small reed like stuff on the south/east end. Nothing to worry about. They did a fine job cleaning it up. Each day more and more will get washed up on that end. Water temp.,?..my son said the first time he fell it knocked the wind out of him....COLD...

Yeah, and guess what else? Richard worked this morning, too. What the deal?

There were more boats down there midday than I ever would have imagined. Shades of summer, I guess.

My buddy trunked it for a whole lap. Can't believe that, cuz my hands and feet were frozen. Feet would freeze up just standing on the platform suiting up my boy.

Saw it too and we all said that takes guts as we were zipping up our dry suits. Now that is diehard!

Hey, did you guys happen to see my son riding? He's the 48" guy in the black drysuit.

Even when he burps the suit, he floats on his back like one of them water strider bugs.

Whenever I see we're coming up on a Honey Line or another towboat, I look back cuz I know he's gonna charge. So funny, like an attention ho. Usually the other boats like it, though.
