Thinking about going to Lake Castaic, can anybody tell me how the water is?

Also has the debris stop showing up in the center of the lake.
Thanks for any feed back

Was at the upper lake Sunday afternoon, just to shake the dust off the boat 'cuz its been so long since i've been out!
Was surprised to see a line to get in. Now i remember one of the reasons to go early, and the clowns on the ramp was another reason.
There was tons of stuff floating, mostly in big groups, never seen that before, used to get that way at pyramid. Mostly smaller stuff, but did hit a few big chunks. Gotta keep your eyes open.
Didnt really get in the water, but the water was COLD! Didnt realize i was gonna blow $75 just to get the boat wet! Lemme know if you ever need a third.......scott
