Need a board for a friend

He is 250+

I got a Phase Five oogle and it was to squirrley for him says it flexes too much underneath and he can't keep it in the pocket
any one got something that would be better suited for him

he can surf on a 5' 6" venture but is looking for something a little more playful

say a
IS Red Woody
Walker Project Bazooka
Lake Wakes 5.4
etc

Ragboy or Dennish would be your best bet on all the boards you mentioned ,

Get the Red Woody and don't look back.

I was 250+ last summer and bought a Woody. Great, fast board for big guys.

How well does your friend ride? How big is the wake you are riding? I am the national Sales Manager for The Walker Project. The Bazooka is my baby. I ride the 5'1" Bazooka. I weigh about 280. The 5'3" version is for bigger riders in the 340 range. The Bazooka is a high performance board based on the Bullet model.

Dennis I am currently about 270# and am riding a Red Woody. I really like the board but am already looking into what the next progression is. I have heard a lot of good things about the bazooka! Going from the 5'6" woody to a 5'1" bazooka what performance differences would I expect to see?? Would I be able to just cruise in the pocket or would I have to always be working that board? I riding behind a well ballasted Avy with a bigger than average wave. Thanks for the info!
