1994 Malibu Echelon Computron

Our onboard computer is acting all weird. It still turns on the blower when you start the boat, but the custom writing you can program is all messed up and the depth sounder reading is not working. Has this happened to anyone before? Is it toast?

I had a buddy with a 94 echelon and he had a ton of problems with the electronics. He's never really been able to work out all the issues. Good luck.

did the 93's have computron on them just curious?

I had a 94' Echelon and the blower runs when the key is in the on position and once the boat starts the blower should turn off - if it is staying on after the boat starts just put it on its own switch and be over it. And yeah my in dash depth gauge and the names never worked, but everything else seemed to be fine, speed, hour meter, tach, etc -

My Echelon has been having problems with the computer. Every year it seems to be something different. One year its the depth meter, the stop watch, or speedometer. Our blower hasnt had any problems though. I just put it on before I start the engine and turn it off while im out on the pond for a few minutes.

I got the computer to work right by cleaning the card and the connector pins. The Depth sounder still does not work... but my boat went from 800 hours to 27.6! haha!

Hey, replacing the interior lights on side of the engine, what kind of bulbs are they? I need to fix these lights.

Yes the '93 Echelon did come with the Computron system
