IMO i would never pay that much for a DD with that many hours on it. Not saying its not a good boat or that it wont hold up but you could get a V drive with that many hours on it for a few grand more.

Christ, Walker....get over it already. It seems you signed on here just to bash SC.

They are as good or better than most in regards to customer service.

Thats the problem, I haven't been able to find a decent V-drive for a few grand more. I guess I might have to wait until the off season.

Jeremiah, what happened to the X-45 and Malibu?
Why are you going for a boat like that when you weregoing to get something way out of that price range? I'm not trying to bash you or anything I was just wondering.

Yeah I checked that one out. Damn though 2400 miles back and fourth would be a haul. I live in Tulsa OK

I'd definately go with the launch before shipping a 10 yr old boat with a rebuilt motor I've never seen. The launch will throw a great wake and there have been several previous threads with very happy owners. Alot of people will tell you theres tons of Vdrives out there in the low 20s but it really depends on your location. I'd never buy a boat I haven't looked over and ridden in.

id be concerned with why it was rebuilt at 325? something was not taken care of like a water pump failed cuz of lack of service? those motos should last 1500+hrs before needing a rebuild. unless your using it as a tug boat.

Bob are you serious. That last link you posted was an engine problem and according to Indmar's website the same motors go into Malibu, Mastercraft and Skiers Choice boats(supra, moomba). Before you go making claims that their product and workmanship is poor you might want to make sure they acctually make the product. This bashing is rediculous and baseless.

Wow Bob, Skiers Choice makes a great product and take care of their customers when under warranty.(all I can judge on) IMO they have A+ workmanship and their service has been bar none. I for one have dealt with skiers choice where you have just been going around slandering and making valid threads JUNK imo.

We got a 95' Nautique Super Sport (V-drive) 350 hours for 18,000 ---- and the guy really took care of it, but for a DD it maybe a little much

I have a Supra. Very happy w it. Boat buying is best done as winter sets in. Especially last years boats and used boats with monthly payments due. My two cents worth.
