Really hope everything turns out okay. Video game like tricks now-a-days consequences. Prayers to Pearce

Its sad man.... He was one of the best! Hope he recovers soon. He has done alot for this sport and has plenty more to offer. Did they ever say what part of his head he hit and if the helmet provided any lessening of the damage?

One thing i did notice at Winter X was that most of the riders had the KP stickers on their boards. They only person i notice that I didnt see having one was Shuan White. Kinda pissed me off, like he was almost to good to mess with his sticker job. Im sure there was probably a reason (maybe habit or superstition about change, or hell maybe I missed it on his board). Just seemed like he should follow suit to support a fellow USA and Burton Rider. You wouldnt see someone in another sport, say Nfl, not chose to wear a black ribbon or small number on the back of their helmet when a teammate dies.

I will give SW credit for pointing at a KP sticker on the box they sit on to strap in and give a thumbs up. ok... /end rant

I wish KP the best!

I have heard he hit the lip across his eyebrow line. So if the helmet took any of the blow, it was uneven, although I see the goggles taking most of that type of hit

^thanks for posting the link.

Dont know if any of you caught his Firsthand on Fuel TV. The kid just seemed to have such a good attitude and vibe on the show. I really hope he can fully recover.

In case you missed it last night. Had to sit in silence and fight some watery eyes. What a family!
