We have spent most of September practicing for Barrelboss and the Global Wakesurf Challenge. Here is a link to some video we shot over the Labor Day Holiday.
Thanks jeff,I was having a hard time .It came up giant when I did it..
You're welcome. Yeah, if you play it back with the setting at 720 p it's ginormous. I always use the 360 p and that seems to fit well in a forum posts. Great reverse, by the way, in that video.
I gave my most recent homemade board its maiden ride, rode and IS Sweet Spot, and rode Jac’s trusty old IS Blue.
We didn't have the wake dialed in on the first set. My homemade board was a little slow to ride. The Sweet Spot was nice but still a little more work than wanted. Then I rode the Blue and easily cruised along. I notices that the Sweet Spot fins were on the wrong side of the board. We swapped them out after my first set.
On my second set I started off with the Sweet Spot and finished with the Blue. With the fins swapped the Sweet Spot was faster and much more lively. There’s an awful lot to like about the Sweet Spot, Nice Board Jeff P. I finished up my ride on the Blue by bumping he speed up I made it well over 12 MPH before a bad hump built up in the wake.
We were riding an ’09 VLX. We didn’t have the ballast set up right. We had all built in ballast except the starboard full, a 750 in the walk through and a 750 in the bow. Also had the wedge down. But we only had a 400 pounder in the back locker.
So you got with older model between all brand new ones! Thats rad James
Other manufactures pays big money for shooting this kind of stuff and resulsts are mostly average!
14mph ,you can call Andy at 919 801 0083 ,it starts Saturday all day and Sunday ,going to be a blast ,making a big wake from the help of fly high fat sacs ..
camera placement and angles are a funny thing ...... we hardly filmed anything but the kids were shooting stuff from off the cover ..... we have never done that before and it makes everything look completely different ....... it was an eye opener to say the least
over the last two weeks ive been getting so close to pulling this, but yesterday landed on my man hood and was hurting for three hours, this trick reminds me of doing big gap jumps on my dietbike..I will keep trying ,I might never pull it ,but never say never....
So I wanted to post this, this is Thomas' (T-Bone) mywake run. It was awesome, because he hasn't been able to shred more then once in a row. For some reason, with us all cheering him on, especially me, he did his best ever, it was really cool.
