Is this a bad idea? Too hot? or has anyone seen this in a boat?

Would look great when it was clean. But it would get dirty easy & everything would show up on it.
And it would be hot in the sunshine.

It would only be a bad idea if you go out when its sunny and warm.

I had very dark brown in my last boat. It would scorch your feet and the interior of the boat kind of radiated warmth. On the plus side it never showed any spots or spills. It also lasted a very long time and is still in my old boat. I wouldn't get really dark again.

I put black in mine and love it. Not to hot, and dry's fast i guess. spills and stains don't show up ,but dirt does and it vacumns up nice. The matting and wear will also show up less as time goes by.Black seems to go well with your neutral colors and red , but maybe less so with other colors.

I have black in my X1 (stock from MC) and live in Louisiana where it can get hot. No issues with anything (including heat).

I'm doing a custom interior in my Mastercraft and thougth black would look sick, but I've never seen it in a boat before. So if anyone has black or a really dark color and could post pics then it would really give me a idea what it would look like.
