Hi guys,

I've managed to find a small hole in my SportsStuff party island, and need to repair it.

I've temporarily used a instant bike tire patch (pre-glued patch) until i can figure out the best method.

Does anyone have any good recommendations? Any particular product work better than another?

thanks!

Any good pool or camping supply shop should have a vinyl rerpair kit suitable for imersed situations.

I bought an under water vinyl repair kit from ace hardware that I keep in my boat. I have fixed tubes and ballast bags using it - works good.

Just patched a Liquid Force Party Island with a Vinyl repair kit at a local camping store. Here are some tips:

#1- Get the repair kit with the vinyl and a adhesive
#2- Cut a circular hole for the patch
#2- Rough the area a bit with some sandpaper (lightly)
#3- Clean the area before patching
#4- Put a lot of adhesive on the patch, put something heavy on it while laying over the hole
#5- Wait a couple hrs

Should be good to go!

I had a couple of fat sac's folded up on the shelf for the winter one year. A mouse decided that the bottom of the stack was a great place for a winter home. It chewed a hole through both of them. The really sucky thing was that they were folded up. So I ended up with a bunch of holes in each one. I almost threw them out, but I tried a patch kit from the hardware store. 9 years later the sac's work like new. Not 1 leak. And I never had to redo any of the patches.
