I'm going to be interviewing Chad Sharpe, so please let me know what questions you'd like me to ask him. Thanks!

How in the hell do you Canucks drink so much? or

Who wins the vodka drinking contest, you or Rusty? or

How much does your board really weigh. (seems a hot topic)

Is he able to keep his 'prankster' attitude now that he is involved with Ronix. Its fine to be a goof when you are an up and coming kid, but does his new job require him to be more 'serious'?

Whats with the stiff bindings, does he have bad ankles?!

I ride his bindings so it's not that I don't like them.

Ask him about beating up a father and his son while playing hockey with Rusty in Orlando. It's a great story.

In an all-Canadian three-way fight to the death, who would win; himself, Rusty Malinoski or Aaron Rathy?

How often does he ride behind Rustys XSTAR?

Why do Canadians also say "oot" instead of "out". Seems anything with an O and U they butcher up pretty bad, unless it's one of their words. Like....they can say "I'm from Vancouver but I moved to the Sootheast to ride more!" and only mess up the SOWTH part. Should they not be saying Vancowver?

Sorry...I'm bored....it's nasty ootside!

Looking at the thread about the rail jam in denver, i THINK chad sharpe might be participating in that. so dave, i guess a better question would be is there anything YOU want ME to ask him? oh - and if he DOESN'T participate in denver's rail jam, then i guess my question would be why the h*ll not?!

Where is Jeff Heer? Any beavers on your new boards?

ALright heres one....

Its seems sometimes you are portrayed as an "angry rider" becuase of when your not landing a certain trick. How do you think attitude effects the way you ride, and does an angry/frustrated attitude hurt ur riding the rest of the day?? And how do you deal with it?

Where does he think the sport is headed with generation X getting older and the younger kids just wanting to get pulled around in tubes or play electronic games .

I have spent many nights with him and he is a down to earth guy that can out drink just about anyone and still kill it. I would be curious as to which section in which video most inspires him?? Also if he is shorter than when he started wakeboarding from going so big?

Man, I have so much more respect for him that he can outdrink anyone and still kill it.

I heard that in Hyperlites early days they had an older rider that designed a 4 fined board he rode, and later chad made some changes to it. Now known as the 3DS. Whats the story?
Old     (afrodeziak)      Join Date: Apr 2002       01-20-2007, 6:17 PM Reply
Being from Canada, I am stoked that he is pushing the level of wakeboarding.. my question is this
"Going from small tournaments in BC and growing up in Canada... Does he ever think that he is becoming American?" What are his thoughts on this, things he's had to adjust to? I mean on a daily basis, life is life and it seems pretty normal, but going from the time he first went to Florida, up until now... what are some of the major changes he's felt and had to cope with ?

Actually - I do have a serious question. The rail jam in Denver got canceled but the pros were here (including Chad Sharpe) and ready to ride. I'm curious if mentally that's a bummer for the pro riders, or if it's looked at as more of a "day off" - just kinda curious about the impact that type of thing has (events getting canceled last second) on their attitude, enthusiasm, etc.
