I am looking at blacking out the "spokes" of these wheels. I wanted to try to do it in PS to give me an better idea of it. Rather than just taking a black marker in PS, I was wondering if there was an easier or better way that would look a little more natural and follow the lines and such in the spokes.

I realize not a great starting photo, but just wanted a quick attempt at it.

Any help?

Try the magic wand. Ctrl and click(may have to change sensitivity to like 16)... then I would mess around with the blending options once you picked ur color
