Two 485's running off an Avionixx 800.4 (400wx2) fed a maxxbass processor, fed from a revolution volume control, fed from a WS420, from clarion, from Ipod. miles of RCA cables, no engine noise.

Love the setup with the blue LEDs which i know you have been harrassed on the delta before with. My question: How much difference does the maxxbass processor make on the 485s and what hz is your high pass set at?

I have 4 xs650s

and have ordered the threesome with an xs 12 sub

I have not ordered any amps yet but does anybody have in recommendataions also where do you get the blue led? speaker ring lights?

Wouldn't you get a little better sound quality out of your Ipod if you used an Ipod connection out of the bottom of the Ipod instead of Speaker level out of top? It may be only a small difference, but I prefer to have it out of the bottom at line level on mine...

The tower cutoff is at 80hz, maxxbass difference is subtle but noticable when played side by side vs another boat with 485's.

That's an old pic, the IPOD cable is now lineout from the bottom.
