My neighbors fork rack rubbers are falling out of the glued in slots. We need to glue it back in, any suggestions for glue, silicone, or epoxy? Gluing rubber to aluminum seems to be a bit of a challenge.

I would try an epoxy or acrylic type glue.

clear silicone worked for a while but something stronger would be better.

Took mine apart to get them powder coated and used Crazy Glue to put them back in. When I removed them, that is what looked to be original from Roswell. It was a hard clear glue. Mine have lasted over two seasons so far.

3m weatherstrip adhesive works really well.

I have the same issue. I lost a bunch and MC charged me $7 per rubber piece. I was shocked I told them that must be special MC rubber!!! Silicone works ok but they are falling out again. Might try the 3m if anyone has any other ideas.

Super glue is what XTP uses (or did) to glue the inserts in their OEM (Supra/Moomba) racks. I just reglued mine the other day.

There has got to be a Billy Mays product that would work.

I used gorilla glue for my inserts that came out of the rack. Just a small drop every inch or so or else it will "ooze out"!! Strong as hell.
