I need some info from the experts! I'm looking at buying a 2006 Sanger V215 to mostly surf behind.

Give me some opinion on surfing behind this} boat.

I would got take it for a spin, but we are still snowmobiling here in North Idaho. Gotta love global warming.

I consider myself an expert on Sanger V215 wakesurfing setups. I don't like to have sacks all over the boat so my setup is entirely concealed. I run 500 lbs lead in the back locker and a sack on top filled as needed. 1/2 to full depending on lake crowds and passengers. This bag fills the back locker. When full maybe 600 lbs. The stock ballast full on the side and the front stock ballast full. Everything is inside so the seating is open.

I ride behind a few different boats Nautique 210, Malibu VLX and my V215 and I and most like mine best. The 210 throws a very different wake but mine and the VLX are similar. I'd be blown away if you didn't like how the V215 surf's when properly weighted.

I run a lot of weight but the wake pushes up to waist high and is very long. I have a buddy who can ride 20 feet back on a 4'9" board.

370 seat
500 in floor
