I FINALLY cleared the wake switch today. For the longest time, I just kept casing the wake. When I would go to cut, (riding switch) the board would slide out a little, and I wouldn't get a good cut.

.. Today, I made it.

.. I didn't post, to brag, but if you "rippers" have any advice, on how I can get it a little more consistent, that's what I'm after.

i just stated wakeboarding last month, and just threw a switch heelside w2w 180 few days ago. i like the whole idea of trying tricks from inside wake out, out side wake in(1 wake), then try outside in 2 wakes. also found when hitting the switch heelside 180 w2w was easyer than learning w2w switch because you land comfortably at first with speed to keep your mind on getting the correct progressive edge and height to clear the wake and not so much on landing. b/c your already comfortable that way. much props. oh and not being scared to hit the water helps

I can do half cabs but when I hit a switch wake jump @ Shasta last weekend I got handled on the landing. Definately seems easier to do a half cab.Now I just gotta start grabbing everything. My friends with all the skills say to grab as much as you can because it helps keep you balanced over the board.

Congrats! I tend to not stand tall at the wake when I'm riding switch and it causes me to haul ass through the wake but not get the pop I should be getting.
