Greater Vancouver Area/Van Island Winter Riding

Anyone out that way riding this time of year?

I'm going to be out there for three weeks starting next weekend. While I know it's not exactly warm this time of year I had the pleasure (sincere statement) of riding in water that was around 8 degrees with great friends on the Delta Christmas Eve. If I can get out and ride I'd love to!

The water around here would still be damn cold. I usually don't pull my boat out until the beginning of April and the water will still make your hands numb in a matter of seconds. They way our weather has been going I may be able to pull it sooner. Going to be another gorgeous day up here! Enjoy your time up here.

Like Dave said we are having our warmest Feb in the last 100 yrs. Perfect for Winter Olympics!! :-)

I'm un-winterizing the boat this weekend and will be ready to go.

I'm in the Ladner area and the water is 2 mins from my house so fire me a msg when your in town.

Oh ya, you have to wear a Team Canada hockey jersey if you want to ride!

If all it takes to ride is a Team Canada Jersey I'm in. I am from Edmonton after all!

Its going to be 60 degrees this weekend apparently! If I wasn't so wrapped up in being downtown for olympic events I would be taking the boat out for sure. We'll be riding in March for sure if the weather keeps up.. .
