So Cal Wake Comps?

Does anyone know of any SoCal wake competitions? I'm really missing the competitive side of my sports these days and would like to try my luck in a wake comp this year. I was wondering if anyone knows of anything here in SoCal that might have a masters division (30+).

There ya go. I used to ride in these pretty religiously but haven't for the last couple years. Good riders, good times and a well run series. And they definitely have a Masters division.

They do have a Masters division, but a word to the wise; they are more geared toward ability. So if you happen to be, say 32, and have a big bag of tricks, you'd better put yourself in Advanced or Expert. They might get a little bummed out if they see you killing it in Masters, even though you are following the rules of the age bracket.

check out the canyon lake website that stephan has the link to, there is a sign up day tomorrow in the backwater and a couple pros riding as well. i think you can get a pull for $10 too, not sure on that one though.

I might try a Canyon Lake comp. I will see how i'm feeling. I got out yesterday. Took a bit to work out the winter dust and rust but I did learn a new trick!

When you guys headed to So Cal to visit us? Would you be interested in joining us on a Bass lake trip in late Aug?

You guys getting out riding yet?
