2005 VLX is INSANE!!!

Just took out my new '05 VLX yesterrday. I really thought the boat could not be improved much, but I was wrong. You can see the ballast tank levels on a digital read out on the dash, the engine rips you out of the water, and it turns amazing even with the wedge. The wake is firmer, bigger and a little more verticle. The interior is huge and plush. Small changes like the glove box/cup holders/storage just finish it off. The illusion tower is super strong and seems to minimize pull left to right. I AM AMAZED!

Jason, congrats on the new VLX. "The wake is firmer, bigger and a little more verticle" than what the 04 VLX? I am asking, because I am looking at the 05, and currently have an 04

The '05 is quite a ride!

Jason, does yours have a cooler? I rode a "prototype" and it didn't and I was wondering if they ended up putting one in?

I'd have to agree that it handles really nice w/ the wedge down...I was surprised for sure! And a really nice wake w/ no extra sacks over the 4MLS.

Saw the 05 VLX at Worlds. Love it and they had a sick Batwing Carbon Fiber Illusion tower with 4 6x9 kiclers and 4 lights all molded into the tower.

I'll shoot some pics of it tomorrow when I am out shooting Storrer and Arun.

Yhea compared to the 2004- it's hard, and steeper than the '04.

It has the cooler (smaller than last year), but the other half is being used as storage.

schvak i wanna ride with some of u guys soo bad.......i need to be pushed....this thing about being the only one other than the pops sucks....man theres no competition and learning by youself doesnt help...
