I'm 6'3" 230lbs, any recomendations on a begginer/intermediate board? I see myself doing a little more cruising or wake to wake compared to skate tricks since I prefer surfing to wakeboarding. Thanks.

the byerly revival 42" would be a good skate for you. its wide and has a pushed out concave that is more comfortable for bigger feet

Hyperlite Catalyst 44, i've tried them they're huge and indestructible. plus if you're more into cruising and wake to wake, the rubber grip is more comfy and offers more grip on wake to wake than tape imo.

i personally ride an old '08 Vinyl though and i'm at your weight.

I am 6'5" and 150. I ride an 08 Vinyl and like it a lot. I also have a Mutiny and it rides faster but looser. I got a chance and rode the new Team deck from Integrity and loved it . I am going to order one soon. It feels solid and cuts greats but is also loose at the same time.

i've also tried the bamboo core integrity and i love the weight but it's really loose. i think i'm just used to the ol' vinyl.

The vinyl is definately a great board. W2Ws are cake on it.

if you are talking about the catalyst Nomad (brian grubb pro model) its a w2w board. The catalyst urso is their wood concave and would be a better all around board if you want to stick with that brand.

Lol I'm so confused what to get it was the 2009 catalyst orange (42)
I'm in the uk so am a little limited to what's available. What would u recommend . Thanks for ur time btw

the catalyst changed names to the Nomad. Now catalyst is the wakeskate brand for hyperlite, like obscura and liquid force. For a big brand fiberglass board i would recommend the 2010 byerly revival. Otherwsie I would recommend a wood deck like the Remote horan 41" or composite Integity team 41"
