I am interested in putting a tower on my boat. What brand do you recommend for 97 Super Sport Nautique?

Check out newdimensiontowers.com. I got a tower for my Supra there. They screwed up my order and it was delayed a while, but they took quite a bit off the price for their mistake. Tower looks great.

You can contact Brian at Wakeair and he makes custom SS towers in a variety of styles to fit your boat.

What about a Monster Tower?

Another vote for Wakeair.

what is the budget. ND and Monster are not in the same price range. That might help narrow it down. Monster has a lot of great reviews on them being very solid towers. do a search and you should come up with some good info.

sometimes nautique dealers have old stock towers... we got one for our 95 Supersport for $300... just didn't have mounting brackets (which you can buy) but we just did some custom work.

I have no budget made up right now. I just want a nice quality tower on my boat and I want it to last.

Monster will probably be your best bang for the buck. but I think a Flight Control will look best with your boat.
dont forget to post pics once you get one put on.

IMHO, the only tower you should put on a SS is a New Dimensions Flight Control.(http://www.newdimensiontowers.com/home.html).

Monster tower has my vote.

My vote would be for a FCT or FCT look alike from New Dimension.

I was able to get a year old FCT that came off of a 2003 SAN at a local dealer for my SS. Sometimes there are some around.

I saw an add on the classifieds here for a 2004 FCT for sale a few days ago. Not quite the same as the original, but for a good price it may be worth looking in to

Third the titan, have it on my 93 Sport. Easy to take down for just one person (if you need to do that) and very sturdy. Good price as well. Check my profile pic

If you were in the Bay Area, you could give this a look-over.

I love my Skylon (see profile pic). Rock solid, folds down super easy, and about the same height as the windshield. I compared it side-by-side with a Titan, and liked it much better. IMO
