I think the 2002 Spy Boat has been for sale for sometime now on Flipsell.com.

http://www.flipsell.com/Phase3/home/DispVehicle.asp?VehicleID=6574

I saw it when I was in Portland.

Haven't heard who won this year. What was the prize this year?

When I said its all mine, it is totally wishful thinking. Its the only chance of me getting a new rig in the next 5 years.

We have not picked the winner yet. The drawing will be on the 15th of this month so there is still time to enter in the giveaway, go to Alliancewake.com to sign up. Good luck to everyone who has entered and we look forward to delivering your new Spy 210 Team.

Best regards,

Corey Marotta

I tried to enter the contest a few months ago, and I couldn't find the online entry without the subsrciption. I did find the contest rules and how to send a postcard entry. The rules did say that entries must be in by Aug 15.

If your entry form is sent passed the deadline you are automatically entered for next year’s boat. The 2005 is unreal.

I couldn't get the online form to work for 04... this was several months back, so I entered by mail.

pick me, pick me, pick me!

Thanks Corey. I decided to actually get the subscription, so I am automatically entered in the contest. I actually enjoy the comical aspect of Alliance content.

But even following your link, I still could not see how one can enter the contest without getting a subscription.

You mean that I have been waiting by the phone for your call that I won, and you haven't even picked a winner yet! Well, guess I will have to go enter again...
Old     (bbr)      Join Date: Apr 2002       09-09-2004, 6:39 PM Reply
How do you enter, without having to subscribe again?? I already get the mag, but want to make sure that I am entered.
Old    rypayne            09-09-2004, 11:31 PM Reply
You know I really should get the boat. I did bring up the tread and that should do it right there.
Old    sk8joe01            09-10-2004, 9:53 AM Reply
i just entered, hope i win it, but who dosn't. i at least hope it goes to someone that really needs it, hope it goes to one of you suffering like me in my 1968 16' I/O, have pity on one of us who have no real boat oh gods of wakeboarding. ya, thats all, i just hope it dosn't go to someone who already has a nice boat (unless they wanna give me the old one)

Imagine the taxes you must have to pay when you win a boat decked out with all that gear...it's gotta be outrageous.
Old     (puckinshat)      Join Date: Sep 2003       09-10-2004, 10:59 AM Reply
Well, you get a 40K plus boat for 7 or 8K in taxes.
Old    sk8joe01            09-10-2004, 11:11 AM Reply
eric, how much did your nautique cost you? think of it like gettin a SANTE for the price of a 2001 series, which is prolly wat i'm gonna end up with..
Old     (kybool)      Join Date: Aug 2004       09-10-2004, 11:11 AM Reply
Does anyone out there know what links you have to follow to sign up to win the boat without subscribing to the magazine. I think they make it as hard as possible to enter without subscribing. I can't find the online entry form. Every link is to subscribe and be entered.
Old    sk8joe01            09-10-2004, 11:29 AM Reply
you have to subscribe to be entered, the subscription form is the entry form, call it an expensive lotto ticket
Old     (kybool)      Join Date: Aug 2004       09-10-2004, 11:51 AM Reply
That is what I thought, but if you read the "official rules" it says no purchase necessary to enter. Has anyone had any luck entering the contest without actually subscribing to the magazine
Old    sk8joe01            09-10-2004, 12:17 PM Reply
it says somewhere that you can put your name address and phone # on a post card and send it in to enter, at this point tho, i think that would be a little late
Old     (peter_c)      Join Date: Sep 2001       09-10-2004, 6:58 PM Reply
Something is fishy...
"All entries, however submitted, must be received by 11:59 p.m. PDT on August 15, 2004"

Seems the contest is already over according to the written rules. Makes me feel like I am being scammed for a subscription.

"Winners will be selected at a
drawing to be held between August 30, 2004 and September 2, 2004, at the Spy office in Carlsbad CA."

Maybe the drawing has not taken place yet like he says but dang...how can we be sure that we will definetely be entered. If I knew for sure I would be entered it is some of the best chances of actually winning something with, as far a lotteries go, decent odds.

Old    scorched_ice7            09-14-2004, 4:47 PM Reply

Old    sk8joe01            09-14-2004, 8:47 PM Reply
sucks to be the guy who wins and dosn't have 5k
Old     (jklein)      Join Date: May 2001       09-15-2004, 5:41 AM Reply
I entered via 3x5 card a long time ago before the deadline. Why have they not announced the winner?
Old    sk8joe01            09-16-2004, 6:41 PM Reply
sooo, supposedly the drawing was yesterday (15th), so when do we hear who won?
Old    choix            09-18-2004, 8:11 PM Reply
so i think the question on everyone's mind is: who the heck won that boat?!?!?

even if i didn't win, i'd like to know that SOMEONE did...just to put my mind to rest..

I think Joe summed up my point exactly. My sister-in-law worked for a station that gave away a new Z3. Chick won it and could not afford the taxes...had to forego on the prize. I'd probably just turn around and sell it...size restrictions on our lake are a real bite!!
