I know its not a wakesetter but it is a very big step up from our old lund fishing boat. I am so pumped for summer... with the way the weather has been here in SD it shouldnt be too long hopefully. I also got board racks and i am getting speakers. should be fun

Summer? We've been riding every friday!! It was like 70 degrees today, not a cloud in the sky. Get that good looking malibu to SanV this friday and look for us, we'll be out there if it's not raining.

dude, the sunsetter is way better than my response lx for boarding. i can't throw much weight in mine or it gets pretty hairy when tryin to avoid rollers after a crash. you'll have a blast!!

steve, he's in south dakota SD, not san diego SD. LOL

Yeah it is a 96 sunsetter...I cant wait to use it. does anyone know the best way to weight this boat? ive heard that sacs on the side of the engine and one is the ski locker works well. any other suggestions?

I would do sacks on each side of the motorbox, sack in the bow.

I see you don't have a Wedge, Your boat responds nicely to it. You might sink the dough on it.

You will get a beautiful wake

I had a '95 until last summer.
We ran 500 or so on each side of the engine, and 400+ from right next to the drivers right knee up to the front and that worked pretty well. It handled lots of weight pretty well, just watch the rollers over the front. I put in a bigger bilge for some of the drivers that either enjoyed soaking unsuspecting people in the bow, or were just not paying attention.
