tachometer died on 93 ski nautique

My tach died on my 93 Nautique. It is a VDO gauge with a white face, black numbers, and a black bezel. I want to replace the gauge with the exact same VDO tach. Can someone tell me which VDO gauge it is and what size? My boat is not local and I cannot remember exactly what it looks like. Is it easy to install a tach?

It should be not a problem. Take of your dash with a couple of screws and at the back you can see your tach with a U-brace holding it's place. Disconnect the cables (remember where they were!) and unscrew the U-brace. Installing is the other way around.

But are you sure the tach meter is broken. Check your wiring first.
