My family just got a 2002 centurion sport bowrider, and I am thinking about buying some fat sacks for it. What are some of the better and faster pumps?

The 2000 gph skylon is suppost to be the best on the marker already rigged for wakeboarding. If you can find a reverseable pump that will be cheaper, all you will need is hose and connectors.

BTW I know you can find it at wakeside.com

I'd like to get a Jab forward/reverse pump, not sure how much they cost or where to order them. I didn't see a price on their webpage. Is it expensive? If so, are there cheaper forward/reverse pumps? Going to rig up a ballast system in my boat as well, probably using the raw water intake.

I have the Fly High Tsunami and love it. It has a nice twist on connection so you attach it and don't have to hold it. It is perfect for the Fly High Pro X Series sacs, they are made of similar stuff to rafting boats and ahve screw in connections instead of waterbed.

I found that it's pretty easy to strip the vinyl threads on the Pro X fat sacks. You have to be very careful not to over-tighten the plugs or especially the quick connect adaptor. But I agree that the Tsunami pump is fast.

Thanks Alex, I will pay more atention to that next time I am out. I have noticed that you don't have to get it very tight at all for it not to leak. What all Pro X sacs to you have? I have had the V-Drive set and just got in the open bow triangle. I am ready to go test it out.

I have the big full-sized fat sack, I have one side sack and I have the brick with the handles on the top. The small plugs that screw in are small and thin and you really can't your fingers on there to over-tighten them (although I have). But you can wrap your whole hand around the quick connect adaptor and I've stripped the soft vinyl threads on the sacks. In an attempt to keep the sacks functional I wrapped teflon tape around the plug and adaptor threads and screwed them down very carefully, being sure not to over-tighten them. So far they are holding. I think the soft vinyl threads on the sacks is a serious design flaw.
