I saw a lot of guys riding these in France when I was there a couple years ago snowboarding. It was like the french X-Games and they were doing superman seat grabs and stuff off the same kickers as the boarders and skiers. The announcer kept calling them snow-scooters. It was a sight to see.

i have the same question Mitch--> HOW DO THE BRAKES WORK... WHAT DO THEY DO? WHY? I noticed on the youtube ad video that the one for snow looks like it might be somewhat fun. the one for ground... ok, but the one that is modified from a wakeboard... complete TRASH. What did it get but 10 seconds of video of a guy attempting to do a "wheelie" spraying water everywhere and almost crashing??? makes me laugh... and not in a good way

Haha this bike board is cool, I tried it in France last winter. I'm snowboarding normally but the last day I used this bike board, and it was really fun!

I think it would work a whole lot better if you can figure a way to do spins on it... maybe make some way to have the handlebars become the handle so you can pass it...

Aside from being just a bit lamer than a razor, I personally like the way the helmet goes with the non CGA vest; What an ironic image, haha.

After I saw one of those snowbikes up at Tahoe, I knew something like this would show up soon. You couldn't pay me enough to give up wakeboarding for that.

it'd be fun to take a bunch of nerdy fashion air-type pics with orange vests on then toss it in the shed till the next garage sale. my turn to share some honesty... Yea, i could be considered one of those "wakekite posse members" (still haven't tried it) But i think even the biggest "foe" of wakekite could agree that he/she would rather "fly a kite" than ride that. Agreed anyone?

I guess it's something different. I'd at least try it given the opportunity but I don't think I'd pay for that thing. It would be cool if the hand brakes connected to some sort of trim tab that would actually slow you down a bit. I still remember how much the slalom ski crowd would give crap to the skurfers/wakeboarders and kneeboarders for how lame those looked. It's all about perspective.
