i was just really suprised when i saw the results for todays pole that had 60% of people saying pollution was not a problem at their lake.
I was just wondering if for the people that said no, there was actually no pollution at all or if its just a minor amount. I know at my lake there is no actual danger, but from what i have seen people take lakes totally for granted and don't really hesitate throwing stuff in.
That's because people don't see the lakes when the water levels have gone down. If you saw what is at the bottom, most people would change their answers.
My local lake is the cleanest in Alabama and is one of the cleanest in the southeast. I'm glad the people that come to it take pride in keeping it that way. I hope we never see the "bottom" of it. Most of it is 200 to 400 ft. deep. I have seen it down as low as it's ever been and it's not that bad.
we call it the dirty d for a reason, you would find some seriously disturbing s--t if they could drain grant line for a day, like bodies, boats, old meth labs...........
From what I can tell Lake Pend Orielle in Idaho is super clean. I am sure there is some garbage in it for sure but I don't think that there is a "problem"
lol and to think i drink from the dirty d when i'm riding lol i saw a freakin tractor tire out their once and were not talking small either like the kind u see on d10's one pass down grantline it was there floating the next it was gone and i never saw it again yikes!
The last few years we have had the dreaded blue/green alge, nasty, stinky stuff. Caused by a combination of leaky septic, agriculture and above average water temps.
