I noticed some minor tearing near the seams of my rear seat last weekend. Its really quite minor, in fact you don't even really notice it until you put pressure on the seat and the seam pulls apart a bit

Any idea what needs to be done to repair this? can it be patched or does the whole seat need to be recovered? Is it something I can do myself or should I take it in somewhere? Also, any idea what causes this? I checked the rest of the seats and didnt find anything like this. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
