In a couple of weeks we are putting on an event here in Fresno called the Flavor Games. It is a 2 day Wake, Rail, Dbl Up comp that has a $1500 purse (more riders bigger purse) for the Pro overall winner.

http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/3320/730377.html?1251743278

Now we seem to have a major conflict with a big "Day on the Delta Street Fair" (Not sure of the name) That a number of the nor cal riders are doing an exhibition in and will not be able to make it on the days we have set.

The days currently are sept 19 and 20
The option would be Sept 26-27

What I am looking for is some info.

Whos coming?
What Class do you ride in?
(wake comp open to all levels. Sliders and D up for Pro only).
Will you be camping on site?

What date is better for you?

Can you attend either date?

This is a WWA event

We have about 15-16 riders doing a bullards bar houseboat trip on the 19th-20th. My crew, Mark Holcombs crew, shon gartens crew, Broadie and the gang, CM, pretty much everyone I know.

Twelkers would be there on the 26-27. The original date is tough for us. Probably one outlaw and one pro rider. Is the purse winner take all? How will it be judged? Is it three separate contests? (wake, rail, and double up). Or is it a combined score?

The purse will pay top 3 over all.
We are planing on doing a combined score for the winner.
The rails will be a 60 ft A frame and a 50 ft flat bar.
Would love to have a huge showing from Nor Cal and So Cal

This is just a trial run for next year when we are going to have a series of 4. Then we will be doing a overall winner of the series so at that point it would also fun to do a North vs South thing

Hey Kaesen bring a few of your flex friends. It would be fun to see some of the flex riders hitting the rails and dubs.

I wouldn't be able to make it on the 26-27th, but am planning on heading up if it's on the 19-20th. Sounds like a great time. Word.

Ben,

Glad to see some good stuff happening in the Fresno area to promote wakeboarding. As you know, the 19th is a bad day for the Payton's, Twelker's and Hoffman's due to their participation in the Brentwood Ski and Air Show at Orwood to benefit the Royal Kids Families. I am not sure about the other families, but the 26th and 27th won't work for us either. I think you need to pick a date and roll with it, there will always be conflicts. Good luck with the event, it sounds fun.

Ben,

Larry will come either date if you will pick him up at the airport? He has a plane that needs used.
