Nice ride!! How do you like the wake thus far? You must be very proud! Imagine what that thing could do with a little Bavarian tuning...;)

This pic was taken without any ballast!

Last year we had an 05 X-2 and i would say that the wakes without ballast were nearly the same height. My wife is a very good wakeboarder and she said, that the shape ís much better in the new X-2.

After the breakin period we will ride with ballast plus additional ballast. We want to put two fat sacs in the rear and two side sacs in the bow.. Then we will see....

I think the potential of the new X-2 is great.

Other +:

Very great handling!
Much storage room!
Great optic!
The new perfect pass gauge is awesome!

Nice Ride.

How close is the boarder in that pic? It looks like the rider is at about 40 feet.

The X2 is awesome if the wake follows suit.

I thought the economy was poor in Germany… What do you tow that bad boy with? … a diesel S class?

Very nice boat!

I have had an X-2 for the past couple of days just to play around with and love it. It is the best driving and handling boat I have been in. The layout of the inside is awesome. It feels bigger than the inside of my X-Star.
Yesterday we had the stock ballast, and 350 on each side of the engine, and a tube sack up front with 6 guys in it and the wake was awesome. Nice and long like the X-Star with a really little lip. It has the MCX and a stock prop and had NO problems getting out of the water. You could add quite a bit more weight if you wanted to. I was really impressed with it.

Travis, how would you compare it to the x-star wake? Can the x2 produce a bigger / better wake than the x with less weight, while maintaining good drivability?

Can it produce a bigger wake than the last X2 (current x1)?

I don't think it could bigger than the X-Star. If you really weight an X-Star there is a lot of mass there. I do kinda think for a lot people may like it a little better since it does have just a touch of a lip. And, I don't really know if it would be bigger than the X-1 either. It's a lot different. Quite a bit longer. When it's longer like that, it just gives off a different appearance. I'm going to spend some more time in it today. I'll try to get a better read.

@graig

I can´t say it exactly because of the big chances in rate of ecxchance eur/usd. Thats why most dealer have no specified retail prices.

BTW we have to pay 16% taxes and 1,7% customs duty.

Craig,

In the UK the new X2 is starting at around £53k without any options. Thats around US$95k give or take on the exchange rate. For a loaded boat we are well into six figures. Add gas at more than $7 a gallon and it's a pricey business!
