I know this is probably wrong section for this inquiry (I also posted in the Industry Jobs section), but wanted to ask it here anyway. Does anyone know if a 1st year boat salesman position is 100% commission based or if it is base salary plus commission? Or would it vary from dealership to dealership (company)? Thanks!

I'm sure it varies but alot of sales positions in general have a "draw" which is guaranteed money if you don’t make enough in commission but usually if you don’t make more than the draw amount in commission for consecutive months they let you go. If I remember correctly they take the draw amount out of your next commission check though. Sell yachts and you can prob get away with one sale a month
