I made my audiobahn speaker grills look better IMO by getting rid of the center piece.

stock grill



cutting center out with jigsaw, be careful not to scratch the front finish.



leave enough so you have two little tabs of material left



use a pliers to bend the tabs like the rest of the hole



grind off the extra part of the tab so it is flush with the rest of the edge.



screw on the mounting ring. This can happens to be a dual 6.5" with an 8" grill



Grill mounted



all the cans on the tower with the new grills. (2-8" proaudio midbass; 2-8" proaudio midrange coaxial with super tweeters; 4 6.5" for boat and beach listening)

From the bottom, sorry I didn't have time to get all my finger prints off the cans, so they look cloudy.



The top side, looks like I have a lot of cleaning to do!
