I overheated today and after investigation, I noticed that I was leaking water from the weap hole in my water pump. Last year, I demolished an impellar and cracked the plastic water pump assembly. This time, the impellar and plastic pump casing are fine, but it appears that the pulley side of the pump has gone bad. There is grease all over the pulley and as far as I know, when water comes out of the weap hole...the pump is done. I wasn't able to catch any parts places open today and was wondering if anybody has experience purchasing this part of the pump assembly and how much it typically costs. Thanks.

It is just a recirculating pump like you would find on a car/truck from my understanding. Should be readily available from any boat parts place. Also shouldn't be more than $10 more than a regular car/truck unit. It is for a boat, so you know it will be more than for a car/truck even though it is probably the same part.
