Even worse... I've got an X-45. She'll probably be a little shaky... I'll drive fast and take chances.

Very nice - congratulations. I have no doubt it could pull 7800 lbs but I would be curious to hear (from someone other than the dealer)how it does stopping with that kind of weight behind it...

agreed....very nice. be careful though. like rich said, it might be able to tow the X45, but i hope you arent at a decent speed and come up on a yellow light and have to hit the brakes. i would have my doubts.

DUDE that is nice!! I dated a dentist with the same ride. She never understood why I would roll all windows down and stand on the throttle. But I never understood what the hell she was talking about either. Oh well...

PIMP.... That's one way to do it. I've always wanted a Porsche, but I never imagined using it as a tow vehicle.

This is my normal tow vehicle on a weekly basis. The marina launches, retrieves, and stores my boat for me. I will use the Cayenne for trips to other lakes...

C.R., it isnt' the brakes by any means...those things are huge. It's the weight of the vehicle. It doesn't matter how well the tires lock up if the momentum of the boat keeps pushing that light SUV. BTW, that Turbo is sick. I drove a friends a while back that had a few mods to it (putting down about 500whp)...it was quick, but I didn't like the way it handled with the 22" Black Asanti's he had on it.

Interesting... Yeah, this years has 500hp stock. I got mine with the factory 21" wheels on it. The brakes are new 6 piston brakes for the front. It stops the beast well. I do agree about the whole weight and stopping ratio. But remember, even a 2500 ram only weights 7500 pounds but can pull twice its weight. I think mellow highway driving should be fine.

If your trailer brakes are adjusted properly you should have no stopping problems! Love that car.. SUV... whatever nice ride! Wash that thing! Rain sucks for people with nice whips!
