Grant , I guess to clarify, I have alt. whine as well as all kinds of noises ( high pitched tone, relay's clicking, pulsing sounds) when I turn the key to the acc. position ( boat not running) . I haev totally isolated my stereo system---all power/grounds/switched power..everything back to one battery not even connected to the starter/engine block...still get the same noises.
Like mentioned earlier, I get noise thru a portable am/fm radio if you set it in my engine compartment.
When I first installed everything I had no nosie issues the way it was wired, then took it in for my 20/50 hour service and now I have all these issues.
