I've got an apple computer and it seems that almost all of the video on wakepics of just posted on here are all Windows Media format and i can't watch them and it gets me soo bummed...if anyone knows of good videos that aren't windows please let me know or just don't make the format windows media so that us Mac users can enjoy also....thanks alot

Well one reason is that there are almost 10x as many Windows PCs as Macs and the Windows Media Player comes installed so you don't have to download and install anything else to watch videos. Quicktime is nice and the quality is really good on the latest version when using mpeg4 compression, but not that many people have it.

Most video's are Mpeg, Wmv or Mov files. Try downloading a different player like DivX or Real Player. You should be able to view all the video's. Just because you're on a Mac doesn't mean your restricted from viewing these files.

In most media players all you have to do is set your preferences on what files it should be allowed to play. Real One has support for just about every media format.
