I have a mastercraft x-2 07'...a lil more than a week ago we hit concrete with our prop putting the boat up and wrecked the prop. we took it in got the prop fixed put the prop back on and are back in buisness. but after the first couple of times out i started to notice a wierd vibration when we go from dead stop to getting on to of the water. it didnt happen the first like 2 times after we had the new prop out but now its pretty constant. the wierd thing is is that the x2 drive much better now >> its so much easier to steer but it worries me about the vibrations...we've checked and everything is on right/tight...any tips? trying to avoid taking it to MC due to ridiculous wait times!

Either the prop is not seated right or you bent the prop shaft too, during the tangle with the concrete.

if you think you might have bent the prop shaft, take it in, cause you could cause much greater problems throwing the rest of the drivetrain out of alignment.

When we trashed ours, we also bent the strut, it wasn't very much, but when you looked really close, you could see it. Is your strut ok? I would check that shaft too. If its bent, you'll wallow that bearing out

I second everything else said. get it to the dealer so they can check out the shaft, strut etc. you got issues and it will damage your boat as it is now.

have it checked to be sure. long-term, you can damage your tranny if thingsg aren't lined up just right.
