ok i bought a 2001 xstar and 2day was the first time taking it out and when i went to turn the radio on the stereo lighted up but there was no sound?When i test drove it everything worked properly!The dealership winterized it for me so is there anything they could of done that could be causeing this problem?

If you have a perko switch make sure it's switched to both. Maybe you're amps are hooked to your other battery and it's isolated so you have no power to them.

there is only one battery and whats a perko switch?

A perko switch is used to isolate you're battery. Most all amps have a little led light that indicates the amp is on check that.

I had the same problem a little while ago and I had blown a fuse in my amp. Don't know if that is what has happened for you but something to check.

I had the same problem in my 2000 and after troubleshooting everything I had to replace the head unit. I believe I had the Clarion 5645 or something like that, and I read afterward that many people had to replace it.
