Does anyone know of a post with (pictures) that will give me an idea on what to do with my leaky waterbed fittings? These things leak like a sive. Should I just try teflon on the threads, or is there a better way to skin this cat?

Justin,

This topic comes up three or four times every year, should almost be a sticky with one of the many common tips here.

I can't take credit but here is what most guys do. Get a 3/4 hose fitting either straight or 90 depending on your layout and put a short section of 3/4 vinyl hose with lots of holes on the fitting then just jam it in the hole. It fits perfectly and only comes out when you want it to come out.

Looks like this:

So everyone is simply shoving that tube in the opening of the waterbed fitting and it just stays there? No leaking? The weight and dynamic load of the water doesnt shove it out?

Thanks,
Justin

Once it's dry it stays, the vinyl kind of bonds itself to the sack. You won't believe how well it works.

Or you could just rubber glue the water bed fitting onto the bag threads. My waterbed fittings have stayed in place now for two years without any issues.
