So what benefits do those parents get? As far as I know only nursing mothers can get WIC benefits. The kids can get reduced lunches at school, food stamps (just for the kid), medicaid, etc etc .... but, as you just said - they're U.S. citizens.

~43 million people on food stamps .... 43,000,000 * .46 = 18,500,000 illegals using food stamps (per your post).

.
Sure my post resembles the meme. Lots of discussion about those numbers and the meanings behind them , but as stated I didn’t pull them from some meme and take them for face value.

What’s weird is the source / link Wes posted to call bs on the above numbers claims the following.
“It is against the law for Illegal immigrants to receive food stamps. We rated this claim Pants on Fire!”

-That claim is completely false . Illegals have access to all sorts of government programs even more specifically SNAP, So now who’s pants are on fire ???? Yes. It is true that illegal aliens have received grants, professional accreditations, loans, WIC, disability, public housing, college educations, food stamps, unemployment benefits, and tax credits from state and federal agencies.

Did you even bother reading the entire article Wes so kindly linked , or just skim the first couple lines for the BS shock factor. Because I am guessing it’s the later . You realize when you get to the end , the article itself explains details further .

Dive closer into the actual numbers toward the bottom where they start diacussing about “food aid “. The source your claiming is debunking these numbers states 33% is their calculation of those illegals receiving aid. Like most stats/polls from government , lets use 3% as a margin of error instead of the standard 2( since we are taking about illegals here little harder to track down ) so the source you claim is debunking these ever so alleged “FAKE” numbers can be considered 36% on the high side , We will use the numbers from the Facebook post since that is what you all are claiming are fake news . The Facebook pic you want to designate as fake news claims 41% . Minus 3% puts you at 38 %. Is 36% all that far off from 38% . Seems pretty close for me for partisan research no? My 46 percent

Let’s go further into the more directly into food stamp claim you so brought up. The tricky situation , and it’s actuallly touched on towards the bottom , is that The food stamp portion in Illegal households is actually held by what the US considers to be a citizen because a child was born on US soil. Some would like you to believe those count against “citizen “ numbers and others believe those should be classified as “illegal “ benefits . The amount of anchor babies in food stamps could easily make up the difference you’re looking for.

As far as less than 2% working in the fields. The article itself claims 3-4% . Let’s even say margin of error is less than .5 of a percent . The article claims the 2% number to be reasonable.

95% of murder warrants claim? That’s been well established as truth in various outlets as well as well documented in the Manhattan Institutes archives . There has been no opposition to this claim except the splitting of hairs between the warrant type along with the claim this statistic means nothing Because it’s plausible illegals posses the most warrants due to the fact they’re harder to track down.

If my thumb didn’t hurt so much inwpukd go on. That should answer some of the validity claims

No, illegal immigrants do not qualify for SNAP:

They do however help keep social security afloat:

The argument thatís made from one side to the other is should those benefits be classified as citizen benefits , or tied to Illegal immigrants ? Those benefits are being paid due to the pregnant illegal arriving. When you take that chunk into account either way , adding, or subtracting, itís easy to have a very large variation depending on the source .

Do you believe an illegal baby should receive automatic citizenship simply because it was born on US soil ? I know the law says thatís the case..........but do you agree with the current law?

But they still get them . Ever heard of Sanctuary Cities. ?

Straight from one of the leading Libtard rants . Burry your head in the sand all you want, it still won’t change the fact your hard earned money is being re allocated to illegals.

A fair interpretation of the federal statute and state regulation must result in the conclusion that illegal aliens should not receive any form of state public assistance. However, illegal aliens do, in fact, receive state public benefits. That's because the burden of determining lawful status in the U.S. is on the shoulders of county social services employees who have neither the legal jurisdiction nor the practical ability to determine one's immigration status. Only an immigration official or federal worker whom the Secretary of Homeland Security has authorized may determine the immigration status of a person in the country.
Therefore, the law is usually overlooked and illegal aliens manage to qualify for state and local benefits.

"Does he have a point that maybe the Democrats have been giving us good lip service, but no jobs."

Job numbers improved dramatically under Obama. So Republicans created the fake numbers and doesn't count because of low pay and people not looking for employment narrative. Even though nothing changed under Trump that narrative just disappeared. Stock market doubled under Obama. Employment went way up under Obama. The trajectory of the economy is pretty much the same from Obama to Trump. Only the narrative changed when the party changed.

Correct.
There were more jobs created in 2016 w/ Obama than 2017 with Trump. It took the better part of 6 years, but Obama righted the ship, and Trump has done a good job maintaining the economy.... the problem is he is a trainwreck everywhere else.

Trump supporters, please explain this one to me ....

Failing to implement sanctions for Russia's interference in the 2016 election that were passed nearly unanimously by a majority Republican Congress — the very same interference that Trump and his associates are being investigated for not just allegedly aiding and abetting, but also obstructing said investigation.... If he didn't want the sanctions to pass the normal process is for the President to veto a bill. That's the President's prerogative; but he signed the bill into law. He approved it. He doesn't have the authority to simply and totally ignore the will of the people, a bill that passed with support from about 99% of Congress.

.... Does anything even matter anymore?

Hmm. I think that list is a little light. Missing a few and several, like Flynn and Manafort have part A, B, C because it was more than just one "thing"

Guarantee he will take credit for unemployment figures along with the stock market. He will say there is no Collusion or Obstruction. However he will not take credit for dividing the country, lighting a fuse under DACA, assaulting the FBI and Justice dept, sabotaging the ACA, cheating on his wife with a MILF porn star, the debt, the swamp, paying for the Mexican wall or assisting the rooskies. He will lie for zero gain yet he will never accept blame, apologize or show remorse. In short a psychopath, he has no conscience...you know, that little voice that tells you are doing something wrong.
Question is will he end with "One year is enough of this Russian investigation".

The only person besides the Trumps family at the republican national convention which I can remember is Scott Baio, turns out Scott was molesting a 14 year old actress, Nicole Eggert, when he was in his 20's.
http://people.com/tv/nicole-eggert-a...se-scott-baio/
Now I see how Baio fit right in with the Trump campaign. I wonder if he ever talked to Trump about violating young girls? I was surprised how much the actress Nicole, that Baio molested, now looks like Melania Trump, could probably play her in a movie role(Trump will be played by Baldwin)

The SOTU has become unwatchable for me (regardless of who is delivering it). The applause at the end.of.every.sentence kills me. It's a 20 minute speech with 40 minutes of applause. More than two standing ovations at any time also just undermines the whole meaning of the standing O in the first place. I gave up watching after the 20th or so standing O.

Seriously, sit the F down and let him speak. It's so stupid. It's so fake and see through. Repubs clapping for everything that comes out of his mouth, Dems looking like they are just mad at whatever he said. And was it me or were there just too many anecdotal stories last night. I know they all do it but it just seemed like there was so many of them. I want to hear the State of the Union from the Presidents perspective, not a party circle jerk that is more of a campaign rally.

Remember the pep rallies in high school? That's what the SOTU speech is. Now if you invite the opposing team do you really expect them to cheer as well?

When the American people understand that symbolism is worthless if it's intended to cover up bad policy and the inability for Congress and the President to seriously address problems then we'll start making progress.

I think he did a great job of pointing out how things in this country are getting better on his watch. He was smart to specifically mention how blacks and Mexican/Americans are doing better, talking about numerous companies expanding/investing in America and handing out raises as well as how tax cuts affect different income brackets. For once, he pulled his foot out of his mouth and reminded us why we voted for him and his policies.

Not that the SOTU is ever an enjoyable thing. It is pretty funny though how Mark and crew are creaming their pants over the black unemployment numbers when the 1% drop throughout 2017 is still under Obama's budget. If anything, Trump has slowed the progress since the previous 6 years under Obama black unemployment fell 1.34% per year lol. Somehow I don't recall them getting so excited back then :-)

Im with shawndoggy and Ian Brown. The trotting out of all these people, heros and those who have suffered just gets lame after a while. kind of taking advantage of their misfortune. The constant sit down, applause sit down made it difficult for me to fast forward with accuracy. Its pretty much just a circle jerk along party lines.
If it were an actual state of the country he would have had to discuss Russia and their sticking their nose, fingers and internet into our elections, but he couldn't.
He seemed to face mostly to the right and only a few seconds to the teleprompter on the left...then back to the teleprompter on the right. He did get in some alternate facts into the speech. Mostly continuing to talk to the base who hear what they want.

Republican's are going to release a memo containing Secret Data that says that the FBI is biased, so Trump can fire the guy who is investigating him.

The FBI has stated "we have grave concerns about material omissions of fact that fundamentally impact the memo’s accuracy.”

Democrats say the memo selectively uses highly classified materials in a misleading effort to discredit Special Counsel Robert Mueller, who is leading the Justice Department’s Russia probe, and Deputy U.S. Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who hired him.

Both of these guys are lifetime Republicans.

The Justice Department officials have also said releasing the memo could jeopardize classified information.

So we have a political party that is going to jeopardize classified information to release a memo that has key points intentionally omitted to sell a story that the guy who is a lifetime FED, and lifetime Republican is biased against the guy he is investigating. Clearing the way for the president to fire him before he can finish the investigation where even the head of brietbart said that Trumps son committed Treason.

How do you spell "corruption": GOP.

Here's my guess, the memo is going to say that the initial data about the Russian corruption was paid for by Hillary's election and omit the fact that it was initially paid for by the GOP until Trump got the nomination then taken over by Hillary's campaign.

If Muller gets fired it's time to grab some pitchforks.

But all this comes from trump lapdog, Devin Nunes... who should be in jail for running to trump with classified info (that trump was under investigation) early in the investigation instead of, as is required by law, relaying the classified info to the house investigation. Nunes is a tool.
Of course all that info in the dossier is checking out true...so whats their point? FBI used info that has been vetted out as true in order to obtain FISA warrants on Carter page and Flynn ( i think manafort too)....who afterward ended up working for trump. Hey, he said it himself...he only hires the best, right? This all started before trump was the candidate, trump F-ed up and hired guys who were compromised by the russians. There is so little substance to the GOP attack on the justice dept, the fbi, the texting lovers....it works on fox "news" but it wont work on Mueller. I think a lot of GOP longtimers could go down when the truth about how much they covered up comes out. The cover up is quite often what cooks the goose. Shoulda bailed out on trump based on his business history before the primaries. They initiated the dossier, they knew.

This guy is quickly exposing himself as the dumbest of the group; or he must be tried up with Russia fairly heavily. Three pretty major **** ups in a year:

1.) %he ethics complaint against him wasn't settled in his favor, it was just dismissed because the accusations couldn't be proved because the Ethics Committee couldn't get access to and examine the classified information he was accused of divulging.

2.) He refused to allow the FBI and DOJ to examine both his memo and Schiff's response because "this committee [HPSCI] has been investigating them" for months. When Schiff objected that he wasn't aware of any such investigation, and that committee rules required the Ranking Minority Member to be consulted before an investigation can be launched, he just ignored the objection.

3.) Sending the WH a version of his bull**** memo that is different from the one reviewed by the minority approved for release by the committee.

.... if the reporting is correct it sounds like he altered this memo with direction from Trump prior to sharing it.... Stupid Watergate rolls on.

This memo mess is getting better and better, the Dems are "playing politics" so well on this.

Memo get mentioned a ton of attention ... Fox News and the MAGA folks hype it like crazy.
Memo gets edited by Nunes / WH after the review and doesn't get a re-review ... gets caught and called out by Schiff.
Pelosi calls for Nunes to be demoted and puts it squarely on the shoulders of Paul Ryan.
Quote:
“Chairman Nunes’ deliberately dishonest actions make him unfit to serve as Chairman, and he must be immediately removed from this position… House Republicans’ pattern of obstruction and cover-up to hide the truth about the Trump-Russia scandal represents a threat to our intelligence and our national security… It is long overdue that you, as Speaker, put an end to this charade and hold Chairman Nunes and all Congressional Republicans accountable to the oath they have taken to support and defend the Constitution, and protect the American people.”
WH who had a hand in this sees a ****storm brewing and puts it all back onto Nunes.

Its amazing ... they're making Ryan choose between pissing off the MAGA folks because they believed this memo was the holy grail or he sticks with Nunes and buckles in for the trainwreck.

WH who had a hand in this sees a ****storm brewing and puts it all back onto Nunes.

Its amazing ... they're making Ryan choose between pissing off the MAGA folks because they believed this memo was the holy grail or he sticks with Nunes and buckles in for the trainwreck.
Nice post. I heard this in the morning too. I bet Ryan does nothing, remember he wanted the "memo" released and told Rosenstein and Wray to give Nunes the classified info. The FBI didn't even want to release it to Nunes or allow congress access to the classified info... now Trump wants to release it to the world. The Magic Memo for the Fox crowd is the beginning of the end for the GOP. I hope they release it. I also heard yesterday that Nunes staff had been working WITH the WH on drafting the memo. So Nunes and the WH write up a memo slamming the FBI and Justice dept proving beyond any shadow of a doubt their innocence. They do not allow the democrats in the committee to know what they are doing nor will they allow them to have a voice. Nice investigative work Devin, now you can crawl back under trumps desk and continue ****ing the Donald. lol. A group of 6th graders could figure this out.

Love to hear from people who need to have their insults provided to them by the MSM. Please describe how things are going to get worse for me. Are you saying the pool of idiots is going to get deeper? Not really a problem for me. I'm just intellectually honest. That's doesn't mean I care that much. If bad stuff is going to happen to me because of Trump, I'm pretty sure there is a long line of Trump supporters who will be suffering first.

Not exactly. Being a republican you probably don't get it. You know the ones who cheered the idea of a family of 4 making $75K not having HI. In my mind others will be worse off. I'm doing quite well.

Jack, what did your doc do? At first mine wanted to do surgery. Then after consulting with another hand surgeon, he decided to just tape a couple fingers for alignment. Even told me to get rid of the hand brace they gave me in urgent care.

BTW, Copper was a hoot. Loved the pipes and terrain park. Lots of cool video. Did this at Loveland doing hardly nothing.

I didn't go the doctor, it's the same break I had last time from motocross so I just put the brace back on & ate some oxy's I had left over. It's actually doing pretty good, only hurts now to turn my hand towards the outside. I didn't even do anything, bone head on skis next to me on the lift slid into me getting off the lift & I put my hand out while falling.

I love copper when they have snow but it's been hard packed groom the last two times I went up. I do love their terrain park but I don't hit it anymore, hurts my old ass to eat it. I'm just a cruiser now. Had a great powder day at Loveland a few weeks ago though. Heal up man!

LOL, you're like me. I kept telling them I thought it would heal up on it's own, and then they finally came around to see it my way. It was pretty nasty looking though. Swelled up like the Pillsbury dough boy. The pain was quite manageable with ice and ibuprofen. Waited till I got back to get an xray.

I was sticking to the tables and half pipes. Didn't feel comfortable xfering on to any of the rails.

I think the memo is pretty bad. You have Steele on record admitting it's personal & he is desperate to not allow Trump to be elected. I also don't see anything in that memo that would be considered "harmful to national interest or on going investigations". I think it's pretty damning. I am curious what could possibly be out of context & what info needs to be filled in to get the complete picture as dems have stated. I'm no law expert but reading that memo has wondering why Steele wasn't arressted for knowingly lying to the FBI & the FBI knowing it & cutting off all contact with him, but then continued to use his work as reasons to continue the investigation.

Yeah man I gotta be really hurt to go the ER or Ortho anymore. I'm on a health savings account plan which is great but it also makes me think twice before going to doctors or ER's. I've effed myself up so many times over the years I just sort of got used to knowing what will heal on it's own & when to involve the doctors. Although that thought process could be a side effect of how many times I've knocked myself cold?

The FBI began its formal investigation into the Trump campaign in July 2016 was because of foreign policy aide George Papadopoulos, according to a new Republican-gathered intelligence memo made public Friday.

“The Papadopoulos information triggered the opening of an FBI counterintelligence investigation in late July 2016 by FBI agent Peter Strzok,” the memo spearheaded by House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes reads.

Some Republicans have argued that the FBI’s investigation into the Trump campaign began because of the now-infamous Steele dossier, which had salacious and unverified claims connecting Trump to Russia.

Papadopoulos pleaded guilty in October to charges brought against him by special counsel Robert Mueller in his Russia investigation.

The same memo did confirm that the Steele dossier was used to justify a decision to seek a FISA warrant against Trump aide Carter Page.

Here are things I see in the memo and the fill in that adds context:

* The memo makes the point that the DNC and Clinton funded the Steele dossier over and over, but leaves out it was originally funded by the RNC (Fusion GPS) to get Trump out of the primaries, then when he had a chance they ran and the DNC starting funding things.

* The Steele dossier formed an essential part of the intial and all three renewal FISA applications against Carter Page..... but leaves out the fact that he was under FBI radar back in 2013; The dossier wasn't until 2016. There were also 7 extensions of the FISA on Page, most before the dossier.

.... basically they're ****ting on Steele / the dossier because he didn't want Trump as President; but if you're an FBI agent with knowledge that Trump's team has Russian spy ties of course you don't want that man to be President.

The biggest paragraph is the last one. Basically confirmed the investigation started with Papadopoulus and the Australians, NOT Carter Page. So they inadvertently confirmed something (the NYT story) they claimed was fake news.
According to Devin Nunes, Trump Campaign Aide Carter Page is likely a Russian Agent..... these guys.

If your really interested with the memo just read the transcript of the interview it's based on, it was released a couple of weeks ago: http://docs.house.gov/meetings/IG/IG...0118-SD002.pdf

What i find puzzling is the way everyone seems to be lapping up this narrative out of the WH that the FBI and DOJ is being run by rabbit democrats out to get trump. These people are life long republicans appointed by trump. What, did they change party's as soon as they were appointed? Muller is a bloody hero when you read his resume.

Because they can't understand why there are honorable people who won't tolerate a boorish conspicuous liar in the WH without regard to their political party. There is little that is more disrespectful to our country and the integrity of executive office than allowing someone with those characteristics occupying the position of President.

The FBI mishandled the Hillary investigation and the memo attempts to tie the trump/russia investigation to the same type of mishandling. If the republican narrative can be established that FBI/DOJ have become democrat tools then anything they discover can be minimized as "just politics".

The dems are sensing danger that there chance to tarnish the trump wh might be lost.

The democrats are justifiably worried that Trump is going to use the memo to say that the FBI is biased and need to be fixed. He'll then fire the people running the investigation and put his own stogies in place, essentially ending the investigation.

As I understand the panic, it was because Nunes edited the memo after the committee reviewed it (without a second review of the edits)- the issue wasn't with the memo's content, it was how Nunes could have edited it to try and erode trust and allow for FBI / DOJ firings that could lead to Mueller getting ****canned. Specifically because in his SOTU address he said:

Quote:
I call on the Congress to empower every Cabinet secretary with the authority to reward good workers—and to remove federal employees who undermine the public trust or fail the American people
I heard there was also some concern of it giving away "spy" techniques, but after reading it I certainly didn't pickup and 007 tactics.

So i watched Hannity last night to get an up to date FOX take on the memo . Sheesh, so much misinformation, misunderstanding and out right mistruths (flat out lies). Behind him, as he was lashing on the democrats for not wanting devins memo released, was in big red white and blue...TRANSPARANCY. Is it correct to release the memo written by the whitehouse and devin nunes and call that transparency for the public? Release one side of the story "for the good of the people" and at the same time not release the demorats memo of response? Next week trump will have the option to release the democrat response, it responds point by point on the WH/devins little term paper. Its 10 pages. Transparency is releasing both side of this dispute wouldn't you ALL agree?

I read it...pretty much nothin. I also read the dossier and most of the senate and the houses interrogation of Glenn Simpson who hired Steele. So I feel I have somewhat of an informed take on this deal. (BTW, I also linked all 3 here in this thread for all) To me it is incredibly simple minded to release this KNOWING what the response is. Trump HAS the democrat response and he still chose to release his version. Many people say he doesn't like to read. Crazy.

What is the penalty for breaking this oath? Didn't trump take a similar one? Is that treasonous? Clearly thru his actions his allegiance is to Putin.

One thing you have displayed with your post of utter nonsense is that you are a compulsive liar and someone that likes to invent your own narrative. Not surprising coming from a guy like you.

One more thing. I don't think you need to comment on the US military any longer. It's blatantly obvious you don't have an effing clue of what you are talking about.
