Wakesurf Camp in Socal desert in April 2019

Hey Everyone,

I had an idea of trying to get a bunch of people together for a wake surf/wakeboard "camp" in early April (probably in 2019) at a private lake with lodging onsite near Palm Springs, CA. Especially looking for people from the Midwest and Canada who are itching to get their season started early (or anyone looking to get some quality riding in). Catering mainly to adults/athletes. The weather is awesome that time of year (probably don't even need a wetsuit as highs during the days in spring are in the mid 80s usually).

Looking to make it around $1500-$2000 for 1 week (still looking at cost of food/insurance and everything). Depending on popularity may be 2 weeks back to back and people come and go as they please. The lodging only has beds for about 16 people so I'm looking to max it out there (but if people want their own lodging somewhere else I would try to work it out).

There is an airport that gets a lot of people from the midwest and Canada that comes to Palm Springs. Other best airport would probably be Ontario, California or LAX.

Anyway, just wanted to see who would possibly be into it. Let me know what you think!

Couldn't people just go to The Boarding School ? its open year round.

I'd likely attend this one. My in laws winter in Palm Springs so I am typically there for 7 - 10 days every March/April. Let me know when there is some social media to follow for the event.
