Clarion XMD3- Sirus

Does anybody know what it takes to hook this radio up to the Sirus satellite network? What addition stuff do you have to buy? Does Sirus and XM have the same stations or are the independent?

sirius and xm is different programming and independent of each other. I think only one company will survive, that being said XM.

go to clarion.com and check out the stuff all you should need is the reciver box and antenna
the xmd-3 will control sirius but if you have a xmd-1 or -2 you will also need the add on controler. the new xmd-3 will control the radio its self

Oh thanks Shane,I just got a kenwood deck and the store gave me a sat. reciever for free.Now I hear they will be the first to go.HaHa oh well I'll enjoy it while I can,By the way anybody have sat in there boat?How does it work,great-good-not worht it?.....Thanks Hillbilly

Dont count Sirius out. They will be a player.
