Wakeskate skateboard?

Hello all.

Has someone ever tried to wakeskate on a regular skateboard without the wheels?

Cause i think it would be verry cool on such a small board :-)

its works alrite. me and my bro tried it out and it takes alot of skill to just get up. he was able to get outside the wake and try a shuv it just sinks down way to much and just is not a good ride.

cool.. gonna try it this summer . An if it sinks.. Maybe can try some new moves.

No but I've used a skateboard deck on a snow covered hill, gonna try it in the lake this year.

How about putting some trucks & wheels on a wakeskate?

Dustin - if you've tried that, you should check into trying a snowskate (I believe that's what it's called). It basically looks like 2 skateboard decks stacked on top of each other with a few inches in between the two. You just stand on it. Very hard to control, I'm told, but I guess a blast. iv e tried it and it didnt work very well you would haft to weigh under 100 pounds for it to work

burton makes a snow skate thats really nice...there arent really that hard...up here in michigan i do that all the time if im not really snowboarding

the guys at the buywake warehouse have a old scape with trucks that they ride around on.

iv been pulled behind a boat on a skate deck. you need a lot of speed to stay up, feels like slalom skiing

Tried it the other week, the board was too small for me. Nearly got up on it but I gave up after about 10 attempts.

I wakeskated a lunch tray before. I was a submarine for a bit until i got enough speed to come out of the water. I rode for about 10 seconds until the tray cracked and sank out from under me, haha.
