Ryan, you nailed it. That's one of our Enzo 240s with the flyhigh "enzo sac". It really does throw an amazing wake. In those pics there was only a driver and spotter in the boat.

The wake is huge! Is it possible to get such a good wake with any other boat? Seems like everyone with a big wake has an enzo 240.

Mark, do you only have the port side set up with the enzo sac? I've got an 05 Enzo 230 and want to upgrade my ballast system to the enzo sac. I would like to match it on the starboard side as well. Most of my friends ride regular and there are a few of us that ride goofy.

Damn that's a surf wake!

Matthew- Yes, we only surf the port side on our boats (although I do use some ballast on the starboard side). You should be able to put an enzo sac in the starboard side of a 230, but it might be a tad long.

Ahhh....the Enzo. I’d love to surf behind one someday! Until then, here are some pix of a bunch of us learning behind my boat (using the special edition IS Blue Lake) and my buddies boat (with the blue Blue Lake). The boats are both Malibu Wakesetter VLX’s on Lake Sammamish. Mark – tell Jeff we love the Blue Lake boards!

Hey Colin- The first 4 pics are behind my 24ft Centurion Enzo on Lake Samammish. I'm the one doing the grab. I'm kinda biased regarding the board since I work with Inland Surfer and helped design it. But, I really do enjoy riding it and I hope you do to!

Mark - I have just started trying to get some air with my yellow but am no where close to your height. The other day i got the whole board out of the water like 6" and turned it to a lip slide. My wake is not a big as yours but what suggestions can you give me to get more air.

Also how is the water on Samammish at about 4:00 pm? I am usually hitting lake Wa about that time during the week.

Thanks

Michael, having a longer wake to generate speed before hitting the lip is how I get air. In essence I jump the wake rather than ollie. To get a longer wake, just up the speed of your boat. If you look at someone like James Walker, or Drew Danello, they gets air by ollieing like with a skateboard. It seems like they don't need a bunch of speed to catch air. James you out there? Any tips for Michael?

It just depends on the weather, but Samm should be great at 4 during the week. It's been great all week. No wind and very few other boats.

No public launches on the Northend...the most north is Vasa Park on the West Side.

Lake Austin finally re-opened after being closed for three weeks!

I've been working on airs on the Inland Blue - getting close...
