Do you guys fill the center sac? Last time we surfed without filling it and our wake was alot taller than it normally is and a little cleaner too but the sweet spot was really close to the platform. What's the best setup that's working for you guys with minimal weight?

I don't fill the center. With it filled it washes out a little. Add the weight to the bow and that will make the pocket longer.

I have an X-30 so we can compare notes and you decide what can work for you.

1st get www.pop-products.com in your boat. I added 800 lbs. throughout the boat spread evenly.

I have 2 750 lbs fat sacs, 1 in each of the rear lockers. I only fill the surf side bag with the stock ballast totally full.

I fill my center ballast and add a 220 lbs side sac on the surf side of the bow.

It might be more than you are able to get on your boat, but all I can say is that makes the wake amazing. We are getting people surfing with no rope in a just a matter of a couple of tries. It makes a huge difference in the enjoyment and excitement of the experience. The pocket goes on and on, getting back from way way out is possible, and gaining speed for spins is now easy.

Don't skimp on ballast and make sure that you have enough ballast starting in the bow and working your way back to the rear lockers. And by all means the best investment I made was in the pop-products!

Best wishes.
